About The Organisation

The Post
This role involves managing the procurement process for NHS Scotland, overseeing a budget of over £1.5 billion. The successful candidate will work within the Eurocentral facility, which operates a 122,000 sq ft warehouse, and will have experience in FMCG warehouse or logistics roles, including inbound and stock allocation planning.
The Candidate
This is a Modern Apprenticeship role for individuals aged 16-24. Responsibilities include controlling and planning inbound stock, managing inter-site stock movements, and ensuring stock availability and delivery times are met. The role requires the ability to learn new skills, follow instructions, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Location and Working Pattern
Coddington Eurocentral
Dayshift - Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 and Friday 08:00 - 15:30
37 hours per week. Flexibility to work extended hours may be required.
Applicants must reside within the UK.
Salary
Year 1: 70% of Band 4 top salary, supplemented to meet Scottish Living Wage if necessary.
Year 2: 75% of Band 4 top salary, with top-up if below Scottish Living Wage.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, salary advances to point 1 of Band 4.
