Job description

Senior Employment Solicitor - Bristol

We are seeking a talented and experienced Employment Solicitor to join this busy inhouse employment team in Bristol. Working for a large insurance company, the successful employment law solicitor will be managing a busy employment law caseload from start to finish.

Role:

  1. Provide expert legal advice and representation in employment law matters, with a focus on contentious cases.
  2. Handle a caseload of complex employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing claims.
  3. Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for court and tribunal hearings.


Qualifications:

  1. Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in contentious employment law. If this has been a part of a mixed caseload, please apply.
  2. Strong knowledge and experience in employment law, ideally in legal expenses insurance funded claims.
  3. Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and legal drafting skills.
