Job Description:

iO Associates is looking for a Java Full Stack software developer to work for a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence, and space sectors.

You'll play a key role in a satellite mission, developing scalable, distributed systems in a secure, microservice-based architecture. UML/SysML modelling, agile workflows, and CI/CD delivery are central to the programme's success.

Location: Portsmouth, UK

Daily rate: up to £55 per hour Inside IR35

Working pattern: Hybrid

Requirements:

• Java Core (8+), Spring Boot, Hibernate
• RESTful Web Services, Microservices
• UML/SysML (ideally Enterprise Architect)
• Aerospace, defence, or high-assurance systems background (highly preferred)
