Whether you have deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

We are interested in speaking with candidates up to Senior level about a position in our Scotland-based team.

Role Purpose:

We have an exciting opportunity for Project Management professionals, up to Senior level, to join our Scotland Project Management team.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering projects to various client groups, managing key client accounts, and contributing significantly to multi-disciplinary teams. You will support the management and direction of the Project Management group. This is a fast-paced team with an impressive client list and increasing workload, offering significant development opportunities both horizontally and vertically.

You will report to a director and be capable of running projects from day one. Experience with new build commercial and occupier projects, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with investor and corporate clients, is essential. You will also have opportunities to work on pitches and cross-sell other areas of the business.

This professional, dynamic group prides itself on a fresh approach and mutual support. Their success stems from hard work and excellent relationships with internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background (preferably QS/PM) with post-qualification experience. Both MRICS and APM qualifications will be considered, especially with exposure to commercial new build projects.

Modern amenities include the latest IT equipment, remote working options, and ongoing software and product innovations to enhance service and productivity.

What this job involves:

  1. Lead day-to-day delivery of projects for funds, developers, occupiers, and support Directors on larger projects.
  2. Select, appoint, and manage design teams for design solutions, planning applications, and statutory approvals.
  3. Administer complex building contracts, ensuring contractor compliance.
  4. Assist with tender document preparation, review tender returns, negotiate contracts, and prepare client reports.
  5. Develop project documentation, fee schedules, programmes, risk schedules, and budgets.
  6. Produce client reports at all project stages.
  7. Manage client relationships throughout the project cycle.
  8. Interpret contracts, manage changes, resolve disputes, and implement project controls.
  9. Engage in business development internally and externally, including with existing clients.

To be successful, you should have:

  • MRICS or similar project management qualification.
  • Experience in delivering projects for new build commercial buildings and refurbishments, especially offices.
  • Experience managing large, complex schemes (£2m to £50m+).
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality project management services from start to finish.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Enthusiasm, proactivity, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication, numerical, and report-writing skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, and Outlook.

Additional requirements:

  • Well-presented with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to join a dynamic, supportive team.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and secure profitable work through collaboration with property consultancy colleagues.
