About The Role

Location: Tees Valley

• Salary: £12.31/hour or £26,977.38/year
• Working Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off
• Start & Finish Times: 07:45am - 19:15pm (Summer), 07:45am - 18:45pm (Winter)
• Contract: 3 months with potential for permanency

Key Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and advising the public on site usage to maximize material recovery.
• Maintaining accurate records of material removal.
• Managing container exchanges by booking loads to ensure proper site storage.
• Keeping the site tidy within your designated areas.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and welfare legislation, including legal duties and company policies.
• Collaborating with team members to meet operational standards.
• Performing any other duties reasonably assigned within the scope of the role.

Candidate Requirements

We offer opportunities to gain qualifications such as IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 in waste industry specifics. We seek enthusiastic team players who will integrate into the current site team to ensure high standards of operation.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Prior mobile plant experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Flexible approach to cover holiday and sick leave as needed.
