The Naval Architectureteam:
As a Principal Naval Architect, you will be animportant member in one of the largest and fastest growing NavalArchitecture Departments in the UK. You will be working on some of themost complex ship design and build programmes ever undertaken todeliver cutting edge submarines to the Royal Navy and Royal AustralianNavy.
This role will provide you with the chance to work onsubmarines at all stages of the product life cycle from early designto build support and commission. The Naval Architecture Departmentcomprises teams specialising weights engineering, stability andhydrostatics, infrastructure support, seamanship and outfit,manoeuvring and control, fluid dynamics, design and development.Depending on your location, the role will involve working one day aweek on site, with expectation to travel to Barrow for workcommitments. We offer relocation support packages across allSubmarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
