About Us

Situated in the bustling centre of Edinburgh, our esteemed hotel boasts a kitchen brigade of 10 dedicated professionals. With multiple food outlets, including a bar, restaurant, and conference & banqueting facilities that account for around 50% of our food sales, we're a dynamic and thriving establishment.

The Role

We are in search of a Head Chef who:

1. Has experience in leading a similar-sized kitchen brigade
2. Is hands-on and loves to lead from the front
3. Has a proven track record in hotel catering
4. Will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing our Kitchen Brigade ensuring exceptional standards across all outlets
5. Will be responsible for Food Safety Standards
6. Will liaise with purchasing companies for food orders and bring onboard local suppliers
7. Will control food costs and profit margins in line with company objectives
8. Will control payroll to sales KPI in line with company objectives

Requirements

1. Must have significant hotel experience
2. Must be willing to relocate to Scotland or already be based there
3. Must be eligible for the Skilled Worker Visa
