Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Ensure SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and fixed
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates
Candidate Requirements:

This is a great entry-level role for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
