Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Days)

Location: Buckinghamshire

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum

As we continue to grow and invest in cutting-edge technology, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help maintain and enhance our production facilities.

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by conducting preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company, with a focus on continuous improvement, while working on days only shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  3. Carry out root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Work alongside production teams to improve plant performance and reliability.
  5. Ensure health and safety compliance in all maintenance activities.
  6. Manage spare parts inventory and work with suppliers for any necessary parts.
  7. Document all maintenance activities and generate reports as required.

Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge (both fault finding and repairs).
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
  4. A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC) is desirable.
  5. Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  7. Health and safety-conscious with a proactive approach to risk management.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, Day Shifts (No Night Shifts).
