Due to the upcoming recategorisation to a Category B Remand Prison, we have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our team at HMP Brixton. HMP Brixton will be a Category B male prison from April 2025 housing men on remand. Our patients needs will vary greatly but there will be a focus on mental health, substance misuse and early days in custody.
Hours
We are looking for 28 hours/ 7 sessions per week to be covered.
The site have flexibility regarding when these sessions take place between 8.30am and 10pm Monday to Friday

Salary
This position is part time working 28 hours per week. You’ll receive an annual salary up to £120,000 full time equivalent per annum - depending on experience
