Job description

Position: SC Clearance Mechanical Fitter

Location: Helensburgh, Scotland

Hours: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday

Shift: Days

Start Date: January

Duration: 6 months

PAYE Rates:

Monday to Friday: £32.77 all in rate.

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for additional Mechanical Fitters on behalf of our clients for an upcoming project on a Marine base in Helensburgh. Duties will include fitting, repairing and rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, fans, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, etc. on site.

Requirements:

  1. CCNSG card
  2. SC Clearance
  3. Must meet Contractor Training and Competence Standard as identified for Specialist Worker.
  4. Hold specialism specific SVQ Level 3 in Marine Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  5. Must be in a position to undertake Marine mechanical fitting activities, inspections, fault finding, and repairs on various systems and equipment on all RN and other entitled vessels.
  6. Must have working at heights and confined space certificate.
  7. Must hold an in-date fit to work certificate from a recognised occupational health practitioner or GP.
