KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Farnborough - April 2025 Start – Maternity cover

If you are looking for an HLTA role from April 2025 in Farnborough, then this could be the role for you. This role will include leading classes and developing children's skills in their learning. An HLTA will be expected to teach and cover classes in teachers’ absences using their planning to continue students' learning without disruption.

You will be expected to have strong behaviour management within the classroom, as well as adaptable skills to support a range of students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out intervention tasks to support students lacking confidence.
  2. Assist students who need additional support with their learning.
  3. Support pupils across the school and work outside the classroom in extracurricular activities.
  4. Ensure pupils are encouraged, supported, and managed effectively to meet their needs.
  5. Assess pupil progress.

  2. Hold HLTA status or have previous teaching assistance experience (desired).
