Responsibilities:

The appointed Chemistry Teacher will:

  • Develop and deliver stimulating and challenging Chemistry lessons.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
  • Regularly assess student progress.
  • Keep accurate records of student attainment.
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment in the classroom and laboratory.
  • Work collaboratively with Science department colleagues.
  • Assist in the development of the Chemistry curriculum.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
  • Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed.
