Job Title: Children’s Activities Assistant

Location: Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex

Working Hours: Casual, as and when required, including school holidays, weekends, and evenings

Salary: £12.45 per hour

Currently, we are recruiting Children’s Activity Assistants to join our vibrant team at our leisure centre.

Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex is a £38m facility, featuring Northern Ireland’s first FINA standard 50-metre swimming pool and a £15m investment from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL), administered by Sport Northern Ireland. It offers excellent sporting and leisure facilities.

In this role, you will ensure the facilities and activities for children are safe, clean, and properly supervised. You will also be responsible for the smooth operation of all types of parties held at the centre and providing first-class customer service to party guests.

About You
  • You have experience working with high volumes of children in a busy customer environment.
  • You are enthusiastic, resilient, and professional in liaising with parents, customers, and colleagues.
  • You can think on your feet, communicate effectively, and are willing to learn.
