Description:

Marsh McLennan (MMC) marketing and communications are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to provide maternity cover for a minimum of 12 months within the Mercer team. The role involves creating and driving integrated, always-on marketing campaigns across all delivery channels for Mercer’s UK business. Based in London, this position will support campaigns across wealth, health, and career sectors as part of a "One Mercer" go-to-market strategy.

Note: This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the London office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to execute the UK marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  2. Engage with stakeholders to understand practice areas and client focus, using insights to develop targeted marketing campaigns.
  3. Create marketing propositions and plans to position Mercer effectively in key markets, generating leads and sales.
  4. Utilize digital marketing channels to enhance client engagement and support lead generation.
  5. Improve the Mercer website’s UX and engagement, focusing on "always-on" marketing and seamless client journeys.
  6. Build the Mercer brand through social media, PR activities, and digital lead generation campaigns, both paid and organic.
  7. Promote performance excellence through collaboration within the MMC marketing team, ensuring best practices and consistency.
  8. Engage internal stakeholders through communication campaigns to create advocates and amplify campaign impact.
  9. Advise sales and consulting teams on marketing leverage, including sales enablement assets and lead nurturing via Mercer Force.
  10. Ensure all marketing activities comply with policies, laws, and regulations.
  11. Stay informed about market trends to identify opportunities for marketing and PR activities.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a corporate, matrixed marketing environment.
  • Proficiency across marketing disciplines, with a focus on digital marketing and analytics.
  • Experience in building B2B brands and executing integrated campaigns.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented, motivated, and collaborative.
  • Flexible, innovative, detail-oriented, and structured thinker.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of the UK pensions regime.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary marketing delivery.
