Job description

We are working closely with a growing Consultancy in their search for an Automation Test Engineer to join the expanding team on a permanent basis. They have offices in Gloucester, Manchester, and London, with flexible working arrangements.

Due to the nature of their projects, you must already hold an active UK*C DV Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions.
• Define and execute test activities either independently or within a team.
• Identify testing solutions, specifically automated solutions, to reduce software time-to-market.
• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive testable scenarios.

Key Requirements:

• Track record for delivering quality Automated Test solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic engineering environment.
• Hands-on experience in aiding and implementing test strategies with a strong understanding of modern testing principles.
• Experience working with test automation tools/frameworks for varying application layers, utilizing techniques such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, C#, and Java.
• Solid experience of the SDLC, agile methodologies/principles, and DevOps tools/techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, planning, and communication skills, with an aptitude to learn new technologies quickly.
• ISTQB Certification.
