Job summary

Bulb Resourcing is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to drive automation, build IaC and enable secure, scalable service delivery within a public sector digital transformation context.

You will work in an agile, multidisciplinary team, owning pipelines, IaC definitions and automated deployments from discovery to live operation. The role focuses on reliability, security-by-design and continuous improvement across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong cloud and IaC skills with Terraform, Bicep or Ansible across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on coding or scripting in Python, Go, Bash, JavaScript or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in microservices environments.
• Knowledge of Git, secure-by-design practices and Agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain deployment pipelines and automation for secure, scalable services.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to enable continuous integration and frequent releases.
• Define and manage cloud environments using IaC to ensure consistency and resilience.
• Embed end-to-end automation across build, test, deployment and infrastructure management.
• Promote DevOps best practices and contribute to the delivery community.
