Job description

iO Associates are partnered with a consultancy on their search for 2xDevOps Engineers with Active eDV Clearance to be involved withmaintaining and supporting a critical IT service. The role involves working closely with operations and security teams to ensure performance, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement integrations and automation.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance, while embedding security practices in the development process.
  • Deploy updates, fixes, and provide technical support.
  • Build tools, automate tasks, and promote CI/CD best practices.
  • Foster a strong, solutions-focused, team-working environment.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with automation / scripting (ideally Python or Java)
  • Experience with databases and analytics (MongoDB, Elastic etc.)
  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Cloud networking concepts
  • Basic Linux administration

Desirable:

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS)
  • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration

The roles will be paying up to £80,000 per annum and will require you on-site in Gloucestershire 4-5 days per week.
