We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Educational Teaching Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team. To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with staff and students, on a daily basis. You will need to be able to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and flexibility to meet the changing needs of students. In addition, you will also need to present a professional image at all times.

The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role involves direct contact with children and is therefore classified as regulated activity. Salary

This post is paid at Grade 6, Spinal Column Points 7-11. You will be paid for 45.3 week per year, which is the equivalent of term time plus one week. The starting salary is £20,840, increasing to £22,244.
