Knowsley Council's Educational Psychology Service is recruiting skilled Psychologists (or Trainee EPs in their third year) to make a tangible difference for children and families in Knowsley. Knowsley Educational Psychology Service is pleased to be recruiting to our successful and innovative team.We are seeking skilled Psychologists (or Trainee EPs undertaking their third year of doctoral training) who are passionate about making a difference to the community they serve.

Our thriving team arewholly investedin early intervention and the application of psychology in a proactive and positive way to make a real difference to the children, and families of the Borough.Our established and diverse model of service delivery offers opportunities to be involved in a wide range of projects and initiatives, including the roll out of our new Experts at Hand offer in line with our local SEND reform plan.

By joining us in KnowsleyEPSyou will have the opportunity to:

  • Hold a varied and rewarding caseload, undertaking project and strategic development work, alongside traded and statutory work within our schools and educational settings.
  • Shape and facilitate our ‘Experts at Hand’ model in line with National and local SEND reforms.
  • Be a part of a supportive, dynamic, and committed team of psychologists with theadded benefitof professional business support.
  • Contribute to shaping service development and enhancing our role through multi-agencyand strategicworking with a variety of partners.
  • Access clinical and peer group supervision.
  • Supervise Trainee Educational Psychologists as part of their Doctoral Training.
  • Access internal professional development through Enquiry Based Learning and Interest groups.
  • Use a wide range of assessment tools and materialsincludingQ interactive.
