Job Description:

Northamptonshire Council EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY SERVICE has an exciting Locum opportunity for an educational psychologist. The service covers the geographical area to the South and West of Northamptonshire, based at One Angel Square in Northampton. Assessments can be undertaken remotely, face-to-face, or a combination of both, with 2 days allocated per assessment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological advice as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment processes for children and young people with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualification in Educational Psychology and registration with the HCPC.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience as an Educational Psychologist.
