Job Title: Educational Psychologist – Children

Location: London Borough of Bexley

Rate: £600

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Educational Psychologist – Children in London Borough of Bexley.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing psychological advice as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment processes for children and young people with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Assisting in the discharge of the Local Authority’s statutory duties regarding the identification, assessment, and provision for children and young people with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants must hold a qualification in Educational Psychology, be registered with the HCPC, and have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. Experience working with children and young people, including those with special educational needs, and collaborating with other professionals is essential. Knowledge of current approaches, tools, techniques, legislation, and statutory deadlines relevant to Educational Psychology is required. Experience in developing project plans, work plans, target setting, and performance monitoring is also necessary.
