Since becoming employee-owned in 2022, their 30-strong team—including educational psychologists, trainees, assistants, advisory teachers, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, SEMH specialists, and business support staff—has thrived on a shared vision of resilience and inclusivity. They are committed to empowering every team member to shape the service’s future while delivering impactful support to school communities.The RoleWe are recruiting a qualified Educational Psychologist for our client to work 1 day per week in Burnley. You will be assigned a dedicated patch of schools for the academic year (with potential for longer-term engagement), enabling you to build strong relationships with school staff and communities. Adopting a collaborative, planning-meeting approach—described as ‘building a team around a school’—you will deliver support at three levels:

  • Level 1: Casework and Intervention – Providing 1:1 support to children and young people to meet their individual needs.
  • Level 2: Staff Support and Training – Assessing and addressing training or supervision needs for school staff.
  • Level 3: Systemic and Whole-School Work – Applying psychological expertise to enhance school-wide systems and processes, driving sustainable change.
You will have the freedom to tailor your approach to the needs of your schools, supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists in occupational therapy, speech and language, and communication and interaction.
