Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Mener des évaluations psychologiques pour identifier les besoins d'apprentissage.
  • Rédiger des conseils statistiques détaillés pour les EHCNAs.

Location: Bath
Pay Rate:

  • £1000 - £1250 per completed EHCNA report.
  • Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time | Term-time only.
  • Hybrid Working: In-person assessments preferred, but remote work considered (must follow AEP remote working guidance)

We are working in partnership with a LA in the Bath area who are looking to recruit experienced Educational Psychologists to support the delivery of statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).

You'll be responsible for providing high-quality psychological advice as part of the EHCP process. Each assessment is allocated two working days, with flexible working options available. Co-production meetings can be included if desired, with 1.5 hours allocated per case.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify learning needs and emotional wellbeing challenges.
  • Write detailed, child-centred statutory advice for EHCNAs.
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and other professionals to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide training and consultation for educational staff.
  • Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and learning difficulties.

What we're looking for:

  • A postgraduate degree in educational psychology, or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Preferably, prior experience working with children and adolescents in educational environments.
