Pay Rate: £70 per hour (Ltd) – PAYE options available
Contract Type: Agency / Temporary

Assignment Duration: Ongoing, assessments to be completed within statutory timescales
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced and qualified Educational Psychologist to join Bracknell Forest Borough Council on an interim basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting children and young people across the borough.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver statutory psychological assessments for Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments
  • Engage in effective person-centred planning with children, families, and educational settings
  • Clearly articulate strengths, needs, and appropriate provisions in line with statutory requirements
  • Use provided templates to complete high-quality, professional reports
  • Ensure all assessments are completed within statutory timescales
  • Quality assure own work to maintain high standards of clarity, accuracy, and compliance
Requirements:
  • HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist
  • Proven experience in carrying out statutory assessments for EHCPs
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write specific, high-quality reports
  • Able to work independently and manage own caseload effectively
  • Available to start promptly and commit to timely completion of assessments
