We are looking to grow our team and would love you to join us. We are a small team of committed and supportive Educational Psychologists. Educational Psychologists in Derby work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work collaboratively with specialist teachers, advisors and specialist practitioners to provide the very best support and advice to schools and the Local Authority (LA). We have a shared vision to Enable Opportunity for All and we have a strong work ethic and a positive approach and staff culture. Everyone is valued and encouraged to contribute and bring new ideas. Last year we successfully relaunched our traded service to schools and as this has grown we need more Educational Psychologists to work with more schools and Early Years Settings. In addition to our traded offer and statutory work we have increased our project and LA work to include support for EBSNA, neuroinclusive secondary schools, ELSA training, Intervention First and a new psychoeducation programme. EPs also work closely with the Virtual School and deliver support for children in care. We have recently employed two Assistant Educational Psychologists and this expansion of the team provides additional support for our Educational Psychologists as well as an opportunity for us to work in new and creative ways in schools and settings. Statutory work is well managed and systems are in place to ensure that there is a good balance of statutory, traded and project work.
