Join the City of Edinburgh Council as an Educational Psychologist, where you will provide essential support in schools across Edinburgh. Applications are invited from qualified Educational Psychologists to join a team providing support in schools across the city. The successful candidate will work as an Educational Psychologist with a cluster of schools and undertake development work under supervision and line management from a Depute Principal Psychologist.

This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.

Our salary range typically starts with an initial salary and increases annually until it reaches the top of the range.
