We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Educational Psychology Service in Bath and North East Somerset. We are recruiting for a Maingrade Educational Psychologist, with flexibility for part-time arrangements and hybrid working. The Area SENCO Team sits within the EPS leading to close links.

• Creative Practice: Alongside carrying out EHCNAs and providing a consultation service for children and young people with EHCPs, each team member has opportunities to contribute to a wide range of innovative work, including:
• Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) LA wide work
• Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) training and supervision
• Supervision for educational staff
• Supporting the Virtual School
• Ea rly intervention and preventative work

• Professional Growth: Regular individual and peer supervision, CPD opportunities, and the chance to develop your areas of interest.
• Wellbeing Focus: We prioritise staff wellbeing, utilising individual team member’s skills, interests and knowledge and maintaining the application of psychology in all aspects of work.
• Supportive Culture: You’ll be part of a reflective, nurturing team that values professional development, working together on tasks in small groups, peer support, and shared learning.
• Flexible Working: We offer hybrid working, flexible hours, and high-quality IT systems and administrative support.
• Welcome Payment and SPA Portability: A 5% welcome payment (based on starting salary) is available upon successful completion of your probationary period (eligibility criteria apply). If you currently hold SPA points, we are happy to consider SPA portability in your appointment.
