Job summary

• Experience of educational financial management including funding streams, month end procedures and budget monitoring.
• Sound understanding of current financial rules and regulations affecting academies.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Finance Director to ensure accuracy and sound control of financial transactions in line with policy and statutory frameworks.
• Support budget planning, preparation and monthly budget monitoring with Headteachers and school finance colleagues.
• Assist with administration of income and expenditure and provide budget management support.
