Job summary

Richmond and Wandsworth Councils search for an Educational Care Co-ordinator (ECC) to join the Wandsworth Hospital and Home Tuition Service. The role supports pupils aged 11–17 within CAMHS Campus School at Springfield Hospital and across the service.

The post is term-time only (39 weeks per year) with a salary of £27,309.89–£28,528.69 on Scale 5, Points 12–15, and starts as soon as possible. The team values flexible, compassionate, and proactive staff, with training provided to develop

Qualifications

• Experience in an education and/or care setting.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work as part of a team.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience working with pupils for whom English is not their first language.
• Experience with vulnerable students and SEMH is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 11–17 within HHTS and across the service as needed.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, agile working environment.
• Engage with vulnerable students and provide compassionate support.
• Participate in training to develop professional expertise.
