Job summary

Rotherham Education Services (RES) is seeking a Technician with Construction Skills to support joinery workshops and help maintain training facilities for the RNN Group. You will work with lecturers and curriculum teams, provide hands‑on workshop assistance, troubleshoot technical issues, and support practical sessions in Construction and Engineering.

Full or part‑time hours are available; Level 2 English/Maths, Health and Safety awareness, and a DBS check may be required, plus access to pension

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Joinery and workshop practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain workshop equipment and tools.
• Good problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance in joinery workshop sessions.
• Support Construction departments with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
• Assist academic staff and students in workshop activities.
