Job summary

THE HEALTH AND CARE PROFESSIONS COUNCIL is seeking an Education Manager to lead a programme of change initiatives for the Education Department. You will design, develop and implement new processes, managing projects from initiation to delivery while collaborating with colleagues to meet objectives, timescales and budgets.

Post-transformation, you will lead a team within the department, focusing on education and regulatory work, building relationships with providers across the sector and engaging

Qualifications

  • Proven project management experience delivering complex projects and process improvements.
  • Ability to design and embed new processes and ways of working within a changing environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management with diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience managing competing priorities, resources and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and delivering change projects and service improvement initiatives across the Education Department.
  • Designing, developing, implementing and maintaining processes and activities that support and enhance the work of the department.
  • Managing projects from initiation through to delivery, including planning, resource allocation, risk management and budget oversight.
  • Working collaboratively with internal colleagues to deliver project objectives and department priorities.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and leading the implementation of innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with education providers and other key stakeholders across the sector.
  • Communicating change initiatives effectively and ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and promote HCPC’s education and regulatory work, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including UK-wide education providers, and delivering effective communication, engagement activities and committee support to raise the profile of education and regulatory process.
  • Manage and develop the education function including a team, while motivating and developing an operational team to achieve organisation objectives and regulatory requirements.
