Job summary

Shaw Education Trust is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher for a one-year maternity cover, starting January 2027. The role focuses on personalised, engaging lessons for pupils with SEND within a nurturing, inclusive environment.

You will work closely with Teaching Assistants, families and other professionals to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet individual needs and aspirations, promoting communication and independence.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team on a one-year maternity cover contract, starting in January 2027. Our school provides a nurturing, inclusive and highly supportive environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their potential. We are seeking a teacher who can deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences and who understands that progress can look different for every child. Working closely with Teaching Assistants, families and other professionals, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the individual needs, abilities and aspirations of our pupils. You will play a key role in developing communication, independence, confidence, social skills and academic progress.,
