Job summary

Woodlands School in Edgware is seeking qualified teachers to join a special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism.

The post offers a salary on the MPS/UPS scale plus SEN allowance, a comprehensive induction with a named mentor, and a CPD budget with SEN-specific training. You will be supported by an on-site multidisciplinary team and a staffing ratio of children to staff designed to maximise learning.

Job description

Woodlands School is a special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism, aged 4-11. We currently have 137 pupils on roll and were last rated Outstanding in November 2023 by Ofsted. The school is based in Edgware, Harrow; the nearest stations are Edgware or Canons Park.
