HALTON BOROUGH COUNCIL is recruiting an Education Support Practitioner as part of the Halton Virtual School. This 2-year fixed-term, full-time role involves coordinating across education, Family Help and Children’s Social Care to secure appropriate educational support for vulnerable children and young people.
The ESP will bring educational expertise into multi-agency assessment and planning, helping families access the right support at the right time. Regular travel across Halton is required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Halton Virtual School as we develop the next phase of our Education Support Practitioner (ESP) service and extend its remit across education and Family Help.
Our ESPs work closely with schools, Family Help, Children's Social Care and wider partner agencies to ensure that the educational needs of vulnerable children and young people are identified and addressed. The role provides an important link between education, families and services, bringing educational expertise into multi-agency assessment and planning and helping children and families to access the right support at the right time.
We are looking to recruit an Education Support Practitioner on a two-year fixed-term basis. This is a varied role involving work across schools, services and the wider community, with regular travel across Halton and, where required, further afield.
This posts also offers an Essential Monthly Car User Allowance.
