Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in the classroom and assist with individual or small-group learning sessions
• Learn on the job through hands-on experience within school settings

• Deliver planned activities to individuals or small groups
• Organise materials and resources for lessons
• Promote inclusive education and positive pupil relationships
• Support class teacher with behaviour management and school-wide routines
• Liaise with the class teacher about individual learning needs
• Undertake playground duties and attend training/meetings
• Comply with child protection, health, safety and confidentiality procedures
