We have a great opportunity for an organised and proactive Education Service Administrator to join our team at Sense College Streatley.
This is a part-time, fixed-term role working 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday from 8:45am–4:15pm, until 22 December 2027, with a salary of £13 per hour.
As our Education Service Administrator, you'll play an important role in keeping the College running smoothly, providing efficient administrative and secretarial support to the Education Service Manager and wider service.
You will be one of the people helping to keep everything organised behind the scenes. Your responsibilities will include responding to telephone enquiries and welcoming visitors, processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, preparing and collating documents and reports, maintaining records and stationery supplies, and supporting the day-to-day administration of the College.
You’ll also help with financial administration, including maintaining petty cash records, processing internal requisitions and collating orders, delivery notes and invoices for payment.
It’s a varied role that calls for someone who enjoys organisation, can juggle competing priorities and is comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
You’ll need:
A GCSE at Grade D or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths and an RSA Stage II qualification in Typewriting/Word Processing or equivalent are listed as desirable, as is two years' experience working at a similar level. Knowledge and understanding of the needs of people with deafblindness and related disabilities would also be advantageous.
