Job summary

Anakin Seal Legal is working with a Top 150 law firm in Greater Manchester to recruit an Employment Lawyer with 1+ PQE in litigation or ET to specialise in Education-related Employment matters.

You will manage a varied caseload in SEND Tribunal matters for claimants and discrimination claims for schools, providing expert advice from instruction to resolution. This is a rewarding role with potential to carve a niche in education law within a supportive, high-calibre team.

Qualifications

• 1+ PQE with litigation or ET experience in education law.
• Experience handling Special Educational Needs and Disability tribunal matters.
• Experience advising schools in discrimination matters is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Education Law matters, including SEND Tribunal cases.
• Advise clients on options, risks and case strategy.
• Prepare tribunal documents, statements and bundles.
• Represent clients before Education Tribunals where appropriate.
• Instruct and liaise with Counsel as required.
• Deliver exceptional client care and maintain relationships.
• Support growth of the Education Law practice.
