Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a Management Accountant to support the Finance Director across the Trust, delivering high-quality financial management, reporting, budgeting and forecasting with strong financial control.

Based at one site with travel to other Trust locations as required, the role offers broad exposure to strategic finance, collaboration with senior leaders and a focus on ensuring financial sustainability across academies.

Qualifications

• Qualified CCAB/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA accountant with current membership.
• Extensive experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Able to analyse and present financial information clearly.
• Experience within an Academy Trust or public sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Director in financial management, reporting and control.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and management accounts.
• Provide analysis and advice to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with principals, budget holders and senior leaders.
• Ensure robust financial controls and reporting across the Trust.
• Travel across Trust sites as required.
