Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Cardiff is seeking an Education Recruitment Consultant to join our team and help shape the future of education across South Wales.

The role offers a base salary of £28,000–£34,000 plus £5k–£20k OTE, with promotions up to 4x a year and a hybrid working model. You will build relationships with schools, source and place teachers and support staff, and drive performance with uncapped commission and structured career progression.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to visit client schools weekly.
• Customer-facing, sales or education experience is helpful.
• Passion for education and helping others succeed.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Manage Newport Secondary Schools across South Wales.
• Make regular sales calls to warm and cold clients.
• Source, interview and support teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff.
• Match candidates with roles that truly suit their skills and values.
• Build lasting, trust-based relationships with school leaders.
• Handle daily bookings, long-term placements, and permanent recruitment.
• Achieve personal and team goals and be supported, but expected to perform.
