Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a Quality Improvement Officer in Dumfries and Galloway to lead the continuous improvement of our schools and early learning centres. You will guide self-evaluation, curriculum support, and education policy across primary, secondary and early years, reporting to the Quality Improvement Manager and contributing to the Directorate's senior management activities.

• Senior education leadership and management experience
• Ability to lead school self-evaluation and curriculum support
• Experience implementing GIRFAL processes and education policy

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement of the council's schools and early learning centres.
• Support Heads of Education and Improvement Managers to deliver priorities and statutory duties.
• Represent the council on national forums and contribute to the Extended Senior Management Team.
