A charitable organization in the education sector is seeking Programme Managers to lead a team focused on empowering young people with special educational needs to gain skills for employment. This hybrid role involves coaching, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality program delivery. Ideal candidates will have team management experience in educational settings regulated by Ofsted. The position offers a chance to make a significant positive impact and build valuable partnerships.
This is a newly created hybrid role, leading a team to ensure young people with SEN gain the skills to thrive in employment. Its an established team within a growing service. Your manager has been in post for years and now needs two Programme Managers to oversee London operations.
The charity delivers Supported Internships a blend of classroom learning, functional skills and job coaching with real work placements. These programmes give young people with special educational needs the support to gain skills, build confidence, and move into paid jobs.
To apply, you must have experience managing teams in educational provisions regulated by Ofsted. Ideally, you will also have experience of managing SEND provision and/or employment support (though this is not essential). This role could suit someone with senior leadership experience in education, apprenticeships, or further education. You might previously have worked as a Deputy Head, Quality Manager, Curriculum Manager, Centre Manager, or SEND Lead.
