A key objective of the position will be to raise awareness and organically increase student recruitment. This will be done by highlighting the further and higher education programmes that the College has to offer for students to transition from education into land-based rewarding careers, or to further their education at degree level.

This is a unique and fantastic opportunity for someone to be involved end to end; through engaging educational partners, supporting the delivery of curricula activities, raising awareness of further and higher education programmes the College has to offer, and to support changing of the perception of the land-based sector, promoting high quality, rewarding careers.

This role would suit someone from who has been:

  • Schools Liaison Officer/Manager
  • Employer Engagement Officer/Manager

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating partnership opportunities

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Relevant experience in the education sector is a plus

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement and deliver the School Engagement Strategy whilst successfully reaching associated targets.

  • Act as the conduit to bring about increased collaboration between pre-16 (and sixth form) education sector and industry.
  • Produce monthly reports and analysis on school engagement activities, progress, and impact.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Recent substantial and demonstrable experience of working within the post-16 sector.
  • Recent experience of working and collaborating at a senior level within the school's sector, preferably across Cheshire & Warrington.
  • Proven experience in implementing and embedding strategies within an educational setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence individuals at all levels within an organisation.

If you're passionate about this role and believe you have the skills to make an impact, but don't meet every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you - your experience and potential matter!
