Job summary

Portsmouth City Council is seeking a Programme Lead for the Portsmouth Education Partnership to coordinate and support its strategic board and wider programme. You will work with schools, academies, colleges and external partners to improve inclusion and attainment for Portsmouth’s children and young people.

You will maintain the programme plan, track milestones, risks and budgets, and organise meetings, communications and training events across the city.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Clear and confident communicator capable of building relationships.
• Experience coordinating meetings and multi-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings and prepare papers for senior meetings.
• Maintain the programme plan, monitor actions, timescales, risks and budgets.
• Produce progress reports and action plans for stakeholders.
• Organise training courses, conferences and transition events.
• Support PEP communications, including bulletins and the website.
• Monitor externally funded programmes and manage information sharing.
