Job summary

House of Commons is seeking a Video Producer and Technical Lead to create and deliver digital education content for a UK-wide outreach programme. Based in Westminster, you will script, film, edit and deliver live broadcasts, while guiding technical aspects of multi-camera productions and 4K workflows.

You will manage AV equipment and software, collaborate across Parliament, and help grow team capability through technical guidance and training. Interviews are scheduled for the week of 19 October.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in video production within a professional organisation.
• A higher education qualification in video production with some experience.
• End-to-end video production including scripting, storyboarding, producing, directing, camera work, editing and audio; proficiency in Adobe CC.
• Strong communication across teams and with stakeholders; ability to incorporate feedback.
• Knowledge of contract management for hardware and software for a digital events programme.
• Ability to make video programming inclusive and impartial.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and delivery of digital education content for a UK-wide outreach programme.
• Oversee all aspects of video production: scripting, filming, editing and live broadcast delivery.
• Act as technical lead for multi-camera productions, audio, lighting, green screen and 4K workflows.
• Manage AV equipment, software and digital platforms; provide technical guidance and skills-sharing.
• Collaborate with Parliament colleagues to develop team capability.
