The Role

A vacancy has arisen at England Athletics for an Education Officer on a 4-month fixed-term basis, working within the Participation Department.

The role will focus on providing high quality learning opportunities to a range of roles within the sport of athletics with a focus on technical officials, guide runners and teachers. Learning opportunities provided will cover formal education-based qualifications, workshops and other development opportunities in both an in-person and remote setting. The postholder will need to liaise with several internal and external stakeholders to ensure the learning opportunities are high quality and meet our quality assurance standards and will be required to ensure all administration connected to the England Athletics coach and officials licensing scheme is carried out. The role will provide a high level of customer service at all times and be expected to show flexibility in approach to meet the needs of key stakeholders within the sport.

The individual should already have knowledge of planning and co-ordination education and training opportunities across multiple formats. It is also essential for the individual to have excellent customer service skills, a proving track record in supporting and developing volunteers and the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple priorities.
