Job summary

Wiltshire College & University Centre at Lackham Campus is seeking a Minibus Driver to support learners and staff with class trips, educational visits, events and other activities across the college and wider community.

The role focuses on safe and reliable transport, with a flexible, part-time schedule (up to 30 hours/week) and a salary of £13.12 per hour. You will contribute to teaching and learning by facilitating access to valuable experiences beyond the classroom.

Qualifications

• Full, valid driving licence with Cat D1 entitlement and clean record.
• Experience driving a minibus or passenger transport is desirable.
• Strong commitment to passenger safety and responsible driving.
• Good knowledge of vehicle safety checks and reporting faults promptly.

Responsibilities

• Drive the college minibus safely for learners and staff to trips and events.
• Plan routes and schedules to ensure on-time arrivals.
• Provide friendly, professional service to passengers.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks before and after use.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good working condition.
