Job summary

A Further Education College in Northamptonshire is seeking a Driver to join its Transport Team. You will transport students to college in the morning and home again in the afternoon, following a split-shift pattern (6:00am-9:00am and 3:30pm-6:30pm).

This part-time role requires a full, clean UK driving licence with D1 entitlement and a willingness to undertake training. Experience with young people or vulnerable adults is desirable, and you will be expected to maintain high health and safety

Qualifications

• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence with D1 entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Report any vehicle defects, incidents or concerns promptly.

Salary: Pro rata to £24,487 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent)

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students and staff by providing safe, reliable transport while playing an important role in the college community.

No previous minibus driving experience is required. If you hold a full, clean UK driving licence with D1 entitlement and are willing to undertake training, we'd love to hear from you.

Working a split-shift pattern:

• Morning journeys: 6:00am to 9:00am
• Afternoon journeys: 3:30pm to 6:30pm

In this role, you will transport students to college in the morning and home again in the afternoon.

Working:

• Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 6:30pm

In this role, you will support the safe transport of students from college each afternoon.
