What You'll Do
Responsibilities
  • Support young people with complex additional needs, both at home and out in the community.
  • Deliver bespoke learning packages tailored to each young person's individual needs, helping them develop key education and life skills.
  • Provide compassionate, empowering support to boost confidence, independence, and academic progress.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with children and young people who have complex needs and have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings.
  • Have detailed knowledge of how to work in a trauma informed way.
  • Following the guidance in each person's individual risk assessment/student plan to support them to manage their anxiety and behaviour in a positive way and to keep them and others safe.
Qualifications
  • You'll have experience supporting young people with complex additional needs such as PDA, EBSA, Trauma, ASC, ADHD and Selective Mutism.
  • You'll use your passion, experience and enthusiasm to deliver bespoke learning packages that meet each young person's needs.
  • You'll have an exceptionally positive attitude.
