Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust seeks passionate individuals for a children and young people’s Mental Health Service role. The post delivers CBT-informed guided self-help interventions for mild to moderate problems while studying for a funded Diploma at the University of East Anglia.

You will work across Educational and Healthcare settings with parents/carers and young people, balancing study with clinical duties and travelling to multiple schools as required.

Qualifications

• Work at degree level or equivalent with study in child development, wellbeing, psychology, mental health or education.
• Experience with children and young people and understanding England's educational system is desirable.
• Ability to balance the demands of academic study and clinical work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based early interventions for children, young people and families across Educational and Healthcare settings.
• Receive training in CBT-informed guided self-help for mild to moderate mental health problems.
• Work within MHST and gain a funded Diploma at the University of East Anglia while practicing clinically.
• Engage with parents/carers and school–based teams to support Whole School and College approaches.
